Partnership Working Committee
Purpose
The Partnerships Working Committee is a sub-committee of the Senate’s Academic Planning and Priorities (APP) Committee. Its purpose is to examine in detail the proposals for new and renewal of academic partnership agreements and ensure that such agreements are aligned with the institution’s mission and strategic imperatives, along with academic structures of the University’s programs and services.
Responsibilities
The working committee will:
- Receive all proposals for new partnership agreements and ensure that they are aligned with the institution’s mission, that they serve the strategic imperatives of the University and recommend to the APP a decision on approving the agreement;
- Receive all proposals for extensions or renewals of existing agreements, examine their performance against the stated goals, and recommend to the APP a decision on renewal/discontinuation of the agreement;
- Ensure that all proposals are in complete alignment with the current and planned academic structures of the University’s programs;
- Maintain a firm focus on the experience of the students, by ensuring that new and existing agreements are thoroughly considering all the implications of the partnership;
- Provide feedback and recommendations for updating the University policy on partnerships; and
- Other duties as assigned by the Academic Planning and Priorities.
Committee Membership

The Partnerships Working Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM via Microsoft Teams. A submission deadline of two business days prior, and the meeting package distributed a day before the meeting.
