At UCW, we know that no two students share the same academic journey. From free counselling services and one-on-one tutoring, to personalized career planning or creating a sense of community for all students, UCW has a wide range of student services and supports in place to help you on your academic journey. Outreach Team
Outreach team assists students with inquiries related to GuardMe Insurance and registration, ensuring they have the necessary support to navigate these essential aspects of their UCW experience. We also engage students through phone calls, virtual appointment, and emails, offering personalized guidance and referrals to other campus and community resources.
International Student Advising
International Student Advising (ISA) supports international students throughout their journey at UCW. Our advisors provide guidance on immigration matters, including study permits, work permits, and visa inquiries. Students can access personalized support from the team upon arrival in Canada.
General Student Advising
General Student Advising (GSA) supports students in navigating health, wellness, and campus life at UCW. Our advisors provide personalized guidance, connect students with resources, and make informed decisions about their studies and well-being.
Beyond general advising, GSA assists students in distress by connecting them with external services and guiding them to the right support. Through workshops, events, and one-on-one advising, we empower students to thrive academically and personally.
Student Rights & Responsibilities
Student Rights and Responsibilities Advising is concerned with empowering students with tools and resources to help them navigate UCW processes and decisions. Students can reach out if they wish to bring up concerns regarding procedures or decisions that impact them, as well as address concerns related to the community such as issues of discrimination, bias, or unfairness. Student Rights and Responsibilities advisors also oversee student conduct and investigate potential violations of UCW policy.
