UCW Signs MOU With BELTEI International University

University Canada West has signed a Memorandum of Understanding BELTEI International University in Cambodia.

UCW Vice-Chancellor and President, Dr. Arthur Coren and Jefferson Lee, Director, Student Recruitment and Regional Development visited the University to sign the agreement on June 21.

The MOU with BELTEI Group was signed by H.E. LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and President of BELTEI IU.

The purpose of the MOU is to explore further possible collaboration opportunities.

Lee also spoke about studying at University Canada West to about 600 students at the university.

We acknowledge that the territories on which UCW and its campuses are situated are the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Sel̓íl̓witulh/səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We thank them for having cared for this land since time immemorial, honour their graciousness to the students who seek knowledge here, and iterate our dedication to valuing the ongoing contributions of Indigenous peoples and communities.
