University Canada West is delighted to announce that professors Dr. Amit Kohli, Dr. Aia Shilibekova and Dr. Bruce Hiebert have been selected to participate in an EU-funded Erasmus+ faculty exchange with Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Hungary — marking UCW’s first EU Erasmus-funded project.
This milestone partnership was initiated and led by Dr. Kohli, whose academic leadership and international engagement helped establish the exchange agreement and bring this opportunity to UCW. Through this initiative, UCW faculty will collaborate with ELTE in teaching and academic exchange, with a particular focus on advancing the use of digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning at all levels.
The exchange takes place over a 7-10 day period and is focused on teaching with the aim of advancing opportunities offered by digital technologies for teaching and learning at all levels.
"This Erasmus+ exchange represents an important step forward in UCW’s international engagement,” said Dr. Amit Kohli.
“Partnering with Eötvös Loránd University enables meaningful collaboration with leading European scholars and supports the exploration of innovative, technology-enhanced approaches to teaching and learning that benefit both students and faculty.”
Funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme, the exchange supports international cooperation in education, strengthening global knowledge sharing while advancing innovation and inclusion in higher education.
