Biography:

Sabrina Rai is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds a master’s degree in Accounting (MPAcc) from the University of Saskatchewan, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia, and a Graduate Certificate in Accounting with Digital Analytics from Simon Fraser University. Sabrina teaches Financial Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting I and II, Management Information Systems and Accounting Information Systems at University Canada West.

 

Expertise and Experience

Sabrina has years of experience in public practice (articling with KPMG) and the accounting industry, which allows her to bring a real-world approach to the classroom setting. Sabrina also teaches in the School of Business at both Kwantlen Polytechnic University and the University of British Columbia.

Besides her passion for teaching, Sabrina is an avid traveler and enjoys activities such as biking, ice hockey and skiing. She is actively involved in the community and is currently a CPA Ambassador with CPABC.
