
Monte Tugwete
Monte Tugwete focuses on Psychology, Leadership, and Human Development as lenses for academic inquiry. He is an exciting and creative university instructor with a combined 10+ years of experience in business, ministry and the academy, dedicated to creating and providing a fun-filled experiential and exploratory critical-thinking learning environment for students. He has taught Human Development at Rhodes Wellness College, Leadership at Trinity Western University and currently teaches Leadership, Talent Management and Change Management at University Canada West. He has a promising preliminary set of distinguished book projects, publications, as well as academic journal entries in North America, in which he deals with the tropes of systems of inequity, unwinding them, laying bare the bones, so that folks can understand them for themselves and equip themselves with the tools to dismantle them.
Expertise and Experience: Monte Tugwete is a highly qualified teaching faculty who specializes in leadership emergence as it is affected by context and embodiment. He is dedicated to bringing energy and creativity into the classroom. He is passionate about student success, and an expert at translating diversity and inclusion principles into classroom practice. Has an active scholarly profile with emphasis on pastoral psychology, leadership, ministry design, social justice and multicultural perspectives in learning as shown in his latest book, "It's Not Racism, It's Hatred, Hatred Of A Different Skin Colour: A Meta-Analysis Of The Root Cause Of Racialized Oppression." He is a enthusiastic collaborator on learning programs, with special interests in public engagement.
