Sessional FacultyFaculty, Staff

After graduating from the Sauder School of Business with my Bachelor of Commerce Degree- Accounting Specialization on the Dean’s List, I obtained my Chartered Accountant Designation from the CA School of Business.

I teach financial accounting, managerial accounting and internal control and audit. My teaching philosophy is to begin with a question, and then have students let their curiosity guide their learning path. Practical, real-world examples and case studies are used to bring theory to live and provide a dynamic, engaging learning experience that leaves students with lessons they can carry forward into their academic and professional careers.

Expertise and Experience

After working in public practice accounting with KNV Chartered Accountants (now part of MNP) in the audit division, I moved into post-secondary education as a Facilitator with the CA School of Business. After the merger of the CA, CGA and CMA designations, I began working with the CPA Professional Education Program where I currently work as a Facilitator, Associate Session Leader and Mentor. I also instruct at Langara College and am the current Chair of the Financial Management Department.

Volunteer/ Board Work

I am currently the Vice Chair of the Business Educator’s Articulation Committee for the province of British Columbia.
