
Dr. Mohammad Yavari
Dr. Yavari earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University in 2013, with a specialization in supply chain management. He also holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University and a B.Sc. from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). Before joining UCW, he served as a visiting professor at ETS University (École de Technologie Supérieure) and spent over a decade as an associate professor of Industrial Engineering at the University of Qom.
Expertise and Experience
Dr. Yavari specializes in operations management, sustainable and resilient supply chain management, and the integration of optimization and artificial intelligence methods to tackle industry-scale challenges. With over 10 years of extensive teaching experience at the University of Qom and the University of Tehran in industrial engineering, he emphasizes operations management and supply chain management. Additionally, he has more than 15 years of hands-on experience working with a diverse range of industries in Iran and Canada, serving as a consultant and in various professional roles. Furthermore, he has experience in launching and managing startups. His commitment to sustainability is shown through leading research departments and participating in initiatives.

Dr. Yavari’s research focuses on supply chain management, emphasizing sustainability and resilience through optimization approaches. Recently, he has been exploring the potential of Industry 5.0 technologies to enhance the sustainability performance of supply chains.
