Dr. Hassan Ismail
Dr. Hassan Ismail has a PhD in Finance from the University of Aberdeen. He also has a Master’s degree in Management Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cairo University (First-Class Honors).
Dr. Ismail takes a student-centered approach to his teaching and brings a global vision to student learning with real-life examples in the business world.
Dr. Ismail is currently an Associate Professor at University Canada West (UCW) teaching Financial Management, Sustainable Finance, Personal Finance and Investment Analysis and Management.
As an educator and leader, Dr. Ismail is committed to advancing knowledge in finance and mentoring the next generation of financial professionals. Their contributions to academic and research continue to influence both scholars and practitioners in the field.
Expertise and Experience
Dr. Ismail has more than 20 years of professional experiences in Research, Training and Consultations. He is a former Head of Business Administration Department at Al-Ain University, UAE. He also served as a former Program Director of Georgia State University joint program with Cairo University.
Publication and Scholarly Activity
Dr. Ismail has published a book chapter and around 10 articles in many reputable journals. His areas of Expertise including Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, Sustainable Finance, personal Finance and Open Banking.
