Additionally, he completed his M.Phil. in Management from the same institution in April 2012, further solidifying his research and academic abilities. Dr. Davidson also holds an MBA in Management from Hindusthan College of Arts & Science, which he earned in April 2009, showcasing his practical knowledge and understanding of business principles. In April 2007, he completed his BSc in Chemistry from C.B.M. College of Arts and Science, highlighting his interdisciplinary approach and foundational understanding of scientific concepts. With this immense educational background, Dr. Davidson has a well-rounded perspective in management and scientific domains, contributing to his multifaceted expertise in his professional pursuits.

Dr. Benny Godwin J. Davidson has had an illustrious career spanning various sectors, including industry, academia and research. With over 12 years of experience, he has excelled in teaching, research and administration roles. His expertise lies in marketing, and he has made significant contributions to the field through his academic and professional endeavours. As a faculty member at Douglas College since May 2023, Dr. Davidson teaches Marketing and Business Management, specifically focusing on the course ‘Personal Selling.’ He has demonstrated a talent for creating engaging classroom environments and stays updated with the latest trends and research in the field.
From May 2017 to January 2023, Dr. Davidson served as an Associate Professor at CHRIST University, where he specialized in Marketing Research, Marketing Management, Service Marketing, Marketing Communications, Personal Selling, Buyer Behaviour and Marketing Strategy. He consistently upheld an exemplary record of teaching and research, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence. He continuously refreshed course materials, syllabi and assessments to ensure their relevance and effectiveness in promoting student learning. Additionally, Dr. Davidson used various teaching techniques, including lectures, case studies, group discussions, and experiential learning activities to enhance student engagement and learning.
During his tenure at St. Aloysius College (AIMIT) from December 2015 to April 2017, Dr. Davidson engaged in scholarly marketing research, published several articles in academic journals, presented at conferences and secured numerous research grants. He also provided academic advising and mentorship to marketing students, assisting them with career planning and networking opportunities.
Before his academic career, from February 2010 to March 2012, Dr. Davidson worked as a Project Manager at Bio-Sustain Tanzania Ltd. In this role, he defined project scopes, goals and deliverables for manufacturing projects in collaboration with stakeholders and team members. He provided leadership and guidance to ensure projects were completed on time, within budget and met quality standards.
