
Carlos Kelency
Carlos Kelency holds a master’s degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Guelph, has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a master’s degree in Communication, both obtained from Faculdade Cásper Líbero, in Brazil. His research focuses on organizational communication, semiotics, discourse analysis and public opinion.
Carlos teaches Communications courses at UCW, such as Communication Strategy and Business Communications. He believes that his role as a professor is to be a guide, encouraging students to explore their own skills, creativity and think critically.
Expertise and Experience
Before joining UCW, Carlos was a professor in the Public Relations - Integrated Communications program at Conestoga College. He was also a professor in the Public Relations, Advertising and Journalism undergraduate programs of the universities Anhembi Morumbi and Cruzeiro do Sul, in Brazil.
