Amr Shokry holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Human Resources Management from the University of Durham in England and the Provisional Instructor Diploma. Amr is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and brings more than 20 years of global business experience at a senior director level to his teaching.

Amr has worked at a senior HR director level for 3 global Fortune 100 organizations (Novartis, 3M and Eli Lilly), leading the full spectrum of Human Resources Management and Organization Development in Canadian and international locations, including working in Canada, the USA and Europe, and leading teams in India, China and Africa.
Amr has been appointed as a Subject Matter Expert for the Private Training Institutions Branch of the Ministry of Advanced Education (PTIB) since 2018.
Amr’s teaching philosophy focuses on preparing students to exercise the judgment and skills needed in the dynamic business world and creating an environment in the classroom analogous to the real world.
