Join us in celebrating 20 years of University Canada West through the inspiring story of Associate of Arts alumnus Átila Dias da Costa. Originally from Brazil, Átila smoothly transitioned into life in Vancouver, building on his experience in franchise management with Kumon. Now a manager at Mixed Space Storage, he reflects on how UCW equipped him with both "practical and theoretical" knowledge, helping him thrive in his career. Átila's journey is a powerful reminder of how education and adaptability can pave the way for success in a new environment.

The program pushed me to think critically and approach problems from different angles—skills I use daily at work. It’s safe to say UCW gave me the confidence to tackle challenges head-on.”
