University Canada West will welcome researchers, academics, industry professionals and students from around the world as host of ICICET 2026 on Aug. 21 and 22.

The second International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Computational Strategies in Engineering and Technology (ICICET) brings together experts from universities, research institutions and industry to explore developments in intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, computational methods and emerging engineering technologies.

Through keynote presentations, technical sessions, research paper presentations and networking opportunities, participants will have the opportunity to share original research, exchange ideas and build collaborations across disciplines and sectors.

Conference topics include artificial intelligence and machine learning, data science and big data analytics, intelligent systems and automation, cybersecurity, computer vision, the Internet of Things, cloud and edge computing, software engineering, robotics, computational methods in engineering and emerging digital technologies.

ICICET is designed to promote knowledge exchange and support high-quality interdisciplinary research. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, giving researchers an opportunity to share their work with a broader academic and professional audience.

Hosting ICICET 2026 will also provide UCW students and faculty with opportunities to engage directly with researchers and industry experts working in rapidly evolving areas of technology.

The conference reflects UCW’s continued focus on research, technological innovation and international academic collaboration.

ICICET 2026 takes place August 21–22 at UCW’s East Building Lobby and East Building Student Lobby. Opening activities begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, August 21.
