Associate Professor, Dr. Amit Kohli, initiated and led the milestone partnership that includes Professor, Dr. Aia Shilibekova and former UCW faculty member Dr. Bruce Hiebert.

Through this initiative, UCW faculty collaborated with ELTE in teaching and academic exchange, with a particular focus on advancing the use of digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning at all levels.

“During this academic mobility visit, we participated in teaching, international collaboration, and research knowledge exchange activities under the Erasmus+ Programme. The visit provided valuable opportunities to strengthen international academic partnerships and explore future collaborative initiatives,” said Dr. Kohli.

The visit also created opportunities to discuss future joint research projects, faculty mobility initiatives and student exchange opportunities between the two institutions. This collaboration reflects UCW’s continued commitment to global engagement, academic excellence and building international partnerships that provide meaningful opportunities for both faculty and students.

A delegation from ELTE will be visiting UCW in September.

The European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme, supports international cooperation in education. This marks UCW’s first EU Erasmus funded project.
