University Canada West has been approved by Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) BC & Yukon to deliver Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs until 2029.
“This milestone reflects UCW’s commitment to delivering high-quality, competency-aligned professional learning that meets industry standards and supports the evolving needs of the HR profession,” said Dr. Diljot Soin, Interim Department Chair for the MBA Department of Leadership and People Management.
The program is for Human Resources (HR) professionals and designation holders for the 2026–2029 term.
“A suite of faculty-led webinar sessions for 2026, including topics on AI, leadership, and strategic HR practices during geopolitical change, has already been approved,” Dr. Soin said. “This achievement strengthens UCW’s position as a trusted partner for industry and reinforces our focus on advancing impactful, future-ready education.”
UCW is now listed on the Pre-approved CPD Partners listing on CPHR BC & Yukon’s website, becoming the second educational institution in British Columbia, after UBC Sauder School of Business, to receive this recognition.
