University Canada West’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) is getting another specialization.
Students will have the opportunity to select a Specialization in Entrepreneurship. This goes along with the MBA specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Leadership, Supply Chain Management or Business Analytics that started in the Summer 2025 Term.
The specialization includes courses in Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship and Consulting Practice.
“Entrepreneurship is a critical driver of innovation, economic growth and job creation,” said Dr. Stacie Chappell, Dean of the School of Management and Business. “By introducing this specialization, we are giving our MBA students the opportunity to develop the strategic thinking, leadership skills and practical knowledge needed to launch new ventures and lead innovative initiatives within existing organizations.”
UCW previously launched Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) specializations in Accounting, Marketing and Technology Management, starting in the Winter 2026 Term.
More information about specializations is available on UCW’s MBA program web page.
