Dr. Wisanu Krutngoen

Dr. Wisanu Krutngoen has completed a PhD degree from the University of Reading, UK, the Specialist in Education (Ed.S.) degree and a master’s degree in Management of Technology, both were from Murray State University, USA, and a BSc. Degree in Industrial Chemistry from Chiang Mai University, Thailand.

Dr. Krutngoen’s areas of interest are mostly in human sociology and behaviours – how we make decisions, and what contributes to the decision-making process and outcomes expected. With an interdisciplinary academic foundation and extensive international professional experience, Dr. Krutngoen has developed expertise in applied social science, behavioural sociology and decision-making processes. His scholarly interests center on understanding the sociocultural and institutional factors that shape individual and collective decision-making within diverse societal contexts.

Prior to his current academic role, Dr. Krutngoen taught a range of marketing, communication and business courses and held professional positions in various sectors and regions, including the World Trade Organization (USA), Murray State University’s Upward Bound Program, Woosong University (South Korea) and multiple institutions across Canada. His professional background spans international marketing, strategic operations and higher education.

As an educator, Dr. Krutngoen is committed to fostering intellectual curiosity and critical inquiry. His pedagogical approach aims to challenge students to transcend conventional learning boundaries, encouraging them to engage deeply with contemporary issues while acquiring analytical and practical competencies relevant to their fields.
