Biography:

Urvish Pankajkumar Subodh has a master’s degree in Science from Middlesex University in London, England (2010), and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Advance Accounting and Auditing from Gujarat University in India (2009).

In 2015, Urvish moved to Nanaimo. At Vancouver Island University, he took MBA-MScIM dual degree program. While pursuing his second master’s degree, Urvish was part of the executive committee that organized the MBA Games and helped raise $300,000 for the Moosehide Campaign. Currently, Urvish also teaches Quantitative Skills for Business in the MBA Programme at University Canada West.

Expertise and Experience

Urvish returned to India soon after completing his master’s degree and joined Ahmedabad University to teach Econometrics to BCom students for two years. Over the years, he has worked with more than 6,000 students at four different universities and institutions. In 2013, he moved to the corporate to work as a Mergers and Acquisition Analyst at S&P Global Intelligence (Formerly SNL Financial) for a year before moving into a Corporate Finance role at a Family business.

He is an experienced professional working in the industry of Financial Institutions. His experience ranges from management consulting, corporate finance, data analytics, analytics, and mergers and acquisitions to teaching business economics.

Urvish's core competency is simplifying complex scenarios. He has worked with wide variety of teams ranging across different cultures in India, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Urvish is an avid fan of outdoor sports and music.
