Tatiana Mawani
Tatiana Mawani, CPA, MPAcc is an experienced accounting professional with a diverse background spanning public practice, tech startups and her current role in mergers and acquisitions. Tatiana brings real-world insight into every classroom she enters. Her true passion lies in teaching—she believes that anyone can learn anything with the right guidance and she’s committed to making accounting accessible, engaging and empowering for all her students.
Expertise and Experience
Tatiana has hands-on experience overseeing the full corporate accounting function, having served as the Finance Manager at a tech startup. In her current role in mergers and acquisitions, she has worked across the entire deal lifecycle—from participating in due diligence to leading post-acquisition integration and managing entity dissolutions. Since 2021, Tatiana has been teaching at University Canada West (UCW), where she brings her practical knowledge and passion for accounting into the classroom. She is also the founder of Inspire Tutoring, a platform dedicated to supporting accounting students—particularly those preparing for the CPA Common Final Examination—by helping them build confidence, master complex concepts, and succeed in case-based situations.
