Biography:

Suzanne Dane has an MBA in Executive Management and is a Certified Management Consultant, project manager, innovative change maker, serial entrepreneur and educator committed to global development, equal opportunities and a better world for all.

Expertise and Experience

Suzanne’s experience spans the corporate sector (Director of Administration and Human Resources for Canada’s fifth largest law firm) to the small business entrepreneurial sector where she has started seven profitable businesses in Canada and the US. Through her positions as Manager, Small Business Strategic Initiatives with the Province of British Columbia and Director of Training and Development with the Business Development Bank of Canada, Suzanne has been responsible for developing /implementing numerous strategies and initiatives across Canada to enhance the sector.

Leading a boutique management consulting firm for over 25 years (www.rsgresourcesolutions.org), her company has provided senior leadership to a variety of diverse leading-edge national community and economic development initiatives across all sectors. Since 2010, she has also been focused on global development work in East Africa. Her foundation, OneLove Africa (www.oneloveafrica.org), provides microenterprise training, mentoring and facilitates peer lending for women living in remote villages in Tanzania.

Her international portfolio also includes work in Southeast Asia, Pakistan and Tehran where she taught MBA learners through Royal Roads University. Suzanne considers the countries around the globe her own ‘life-long’ classroom and thrives on making a positive difference, while having fun at the same time.
