
Dr. Shallu Singh
Dr. Shallu Singh is a professional educator with diverse experience and strong record of learner centric teaching activities. She is a Ph.D. in consumer psychology and is dual specialised for Marketing and Human resource management. She holds a CPHR- Candidate (Certified Professional in Human Resources) certification – BC and Yukon. Dr. Singh has about 20 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level in various business management programs across various universities In India and Canada. She is a Certified Executive Coach and Lead Assessor from DDI – United States and has worked for various Psychometric Assessment projects for companies like General Motors, Holcom, Ambuja, ACC , Idea cellular, etc . She is currently serving as faculty at Yorkville University, New Westminster and also is a Sessional Instructor with University Canada West, Vancouver.
Dr Singh’s expertise lies in Marketing and Human Resource management. With a career span of two decades spread in academics, and about a decade in industry, Dr. Singh served on decision-making positions in various committees, teams and clubs dedicated to the overall well being of educational institution and bringing in overall excellence . As a passionate educator, she possesses a natural flair for teaching, coaching, mentoring and evaluating learners, employing assessment techniques that challenge and enhance the overall learning experience. She is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging, thereby, contributing to the overall development of individuals.
She has provided guidance and mentorship for research work across diverse topics within the listed domains and has contributed to papers, case studies, chapters in books, and publications in international and national refereed journals. Her research contributions have been published in conference proceedings at multiple international and national conferences, as well as in edited books. Dr. Singh’s expertise extends to conducting training and development programs, micro labs’ conduction, staff development programs, national and international conferences and capacity-building programs at the national level. Her innate expertise lies in team building, quality assurance compliances, data analysis and competency assessments.
On a personal level, she is a happy go lucky person who always believes in living in the moment and to the fullest. She enjoys embracing the lessons learnt from even smallest experience, stand up and continue to grow. Patience and perseverance are her key handling drivers .
