Sarvir Hothi holds a CPA, CA designation (2007), a Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan (2006) and a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Alberta (2004).

Sarvir teaches Accounting for Managers at University Canada West. Sarvir is passionate about education and enjoys using her real-life work experience to illustrate course content. Her teaching style is dynamic, engaging and focuses on creating an environment for all learners to contribute.

Sarvir brings over 15 years of experience in Controller and Manager level roles focused predominantly on financial reporting and compliance for public companies. She articled with PwC where she specialized in providing assurance services to clients from various industries including mining and exploration, oil and gas, forestry and real estate.
