Nishant Kalia
Biography:
Nishant Kalia has an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a BEng from Punjab Engineering College (India).
He currently teaches Math 101 and Math 102 at University Canada West.
Nishant strongly believes that every student deserves an educational environment that helps them achieve their professional goals.
Experience and Expertise
Nishant has extensive industry experience in commodity derivatives trading, strategic sourcing and contract negotiation. He has worked in different roles at organizations such as Telus and Coast Capital Savings.
Nishant has also taught various courses at Douglas College and a derivative trading lab course at the University of British Columbia for the last four years.
He has a keen interest in data analysis, statistical modeling and stock trading based on technical indicators, which he also uses in managing his personal stock portfolio.
