Dr. Sherry Abdellatif

Dr. Sherry Abdelltaif is an Associate Professor with over 27 years of academic and industry experience in the public and private sectors. She is an Associate Professor at the department of Quantitative Studies with extensive experience teaching and supervising MBAR students at UCW. She also brings extensive international and local experience in policymaking, regulations, compliance, and governance, spanning academic research, senior government advisory roles, and global policy engagement. Her work focuses on the intersection of health policy, sustainability, finance, ethics, governance, and regulatory alignment to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She has served as Senior Advisor overseeing health policy insurance regulations, and has advised ministers, regulators, and senior public-sector leaders on policy development, regulations and regulatory oversight across multiple jurisdictions. 

Dr. Abdellatif has also worked internationally as project manager a consultant  on public-private partnership (PPP) healthcare projects and worked with several multilateral organizations and industry partners on funded health policy and healthcare initiatives. She has been consulted on major healthcare infrastructure projects, including the Delta long-term care facility project and the New Surrey Hospital and BC Cancer Centre (NSHBCCC).
