Dr. Ozen Asik
Dr. Özen Aşık is an associate professor in Leadership and People Management Department. She earned her PhD at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey. During her studies, she spent one year as a visiting PhD at University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business where she conducted research toward her degree. She holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She especially enjoys working with international students and strives to bring the best out of the diversity in her classroom.
Experience and Expertise
Dr. Aşık worked as assistant professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Vancouver for six years, then spent the next two years back in her native Türkiye, where she earned the “Doçent” title, the equivalent of associate professor, before joining UCW.
