Dr. Michele Vincenti

Biography:

Dr. Michele Vincenti is a Professor in the Leadership and People Management Department in the MBA program at UCW.

Dr. Vincenti holds a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University, an MBA Executive from Royal Roads University and a Master of Arts in Human Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University.

He teaches both online and in-person courses, covering topics such as Investments, Strategy, Leadership, Human Interface, Management Consulting and Corporate Finance for both BC Commerce and MBA students. Additionally, Dr. Vincenti has provided guidance for over 200 students in completing their final thesis or consulting projects.

Expertise and Experience

With more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, both as a consultant and as an executive in financial institutions, Dr. Vincenti teaches in business and management programs.

With a wealth of experience in international operations and navigating cultural diversity, he has a proven track record of achieving success turnarounds amidst organizational change, mergers and acquisitions (M&As). He is known for his ability to enhance and launch creative, high-impact projects while building profitable operations.

His areas of expertise include New Business Development, Strategy, Sales Management, Risk Management, Product Development, Program Management, Process Improvement, Business Planning, Manufacturing and Cross-functional Team Leadership.

Additionally, Dr. Vincenti also has expertise in recruiting and developing top talent; improving employee morale and productivity; identifying concerns; inspiring support of colleagues and constituents; enhancing capital and funding initiatives; and directing strategic planning, budget development and systems evaluations.

He speaks fluent English and Italian; and understands both French and Spanish.

As president of Alvana Business Consulting Inc., he also offers consulting expertise to his clients in the areas of wealth management, leadership and business start-ups.
