Dr. Majid Davoodi

Dr. Majid Davoodi is an Assistant Professor specializing in operations, supply chain and project management in MBA programs. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in 2013. With over a decade of teaching experience and an Educator of the Year award, he is dedicated to creating interactive, student-centered learning environments that connect theory to real-world practice.

Dr. Davoodi brings more than 12 years of industry experience at a leading automotive OEM, where he held roles in design, engineering, project management and operations. He was a key member of the new car development team, collaborating with European companies such as the Comau Group in Italy. He combined academic and industry background enables him to bridge theory and practice, offering students a learning experience grounded in real-world applications and current industry standards.

His research focuses on optimizing operations and supply chains, and he holds a patent for a novel prosthetic alignment device. He has published extensively in top journals and holds certifications in quality systems, instructional skills and project management, reflecting his commitment to ongoing professional development.
