
Dr. Kenneth Moodley
Dr. Kenneth Moodley holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, specializing in Supply Chain Management, Systems Dynamics, S&OP, and Business & Strategy Management. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and holds various other professional certifications in supply chain and logistics.
He is currently a Sessional Faculty member at University Canada West, where he teaches Operations and Supply Chain Management courses.
He believes in teaching students to take a systems thinking approach to any problem or decision they may face and to consider them not in isolation but to understand the impact to the system. This will enable them to understand the leverage points. He further believes that the key to students gaining knowledge is a combination of:
- Bringing the theoretical and my practical experience and real-world examples together.
- Simplifying concepts – The Keep it Simple principle.
- Fostering a collaborative working and teaching environment in which discussions and critical thinking happen.
- Driving the mindset that acquiring knowledge requires consistency in all that we do – I set work, etc to facilitate this.
- I have a passion for researching topics within the Systems Dynamics field
