
Dr. Janki Shah
Biography:
Dr. Janki Shah has a PhD in Business Management from Capella University and an MBA in Accounting from Davenport University.
She is currently a Sessional Faculty member at University Canada West. She believes in interactive teaching strategies in order to assess if students have truly mastered a concept and uses real-life examples to enhance the learning experience. She is passionate about teaching, using interactive and innovative teaching methods, and supporting students.

Dr. Shah is an accomplished, award-winning Education Leader with an extensive record of success overseeing academics. She is the third generation in her family of scholars who have dedicated their time and expertise to education.
Dr. Shah is a polished presenter, educator, training facilitator, researcher in higher education, committee leader, and public speaker. She is a big-picture thinker and creative problem-solver with project management skills and solid hands-on tactical execution.
Dr. Shah has a reputation for exhibiting outstanding professionalism, integrity, and honesty; well-versed in maintaining confidentiality, handling sensitive matters with discretion, and adhering to guidelines, policies, and regulations. She also volunteers her time to enrich society by spreading awareness for education and guiding students in making correct career choices.
Scholarly Activity
She has played various roles, such as a member of the organizing committee, review committee, session chair, track chair, and researcher for various research conferences. She has also hosted events as a panelist and judged business competitions both at the national and international levels.
Academically, while pursuing her PhD, Dr. Shah has received scholarships and awards for maintaining a high GPA and has served as a university ambassador.

Dr. Shah was honoured with the "Emerging Scholar Award" for two consecutive years, in 2020 and 2021, as a part of the "Twentieth and Twenty-First International Conference on Knowledge, Culture, and Change in Organizations."
