Dr. Bruce Hiebert

Biography:

Dr. Bruce Hiebert received his PhD in Historical Ethics from Simon Fraser University in 2008.

He teaches Business Environment, Ethics & Strategy and Human Interfaces at UCW where he has been a faculty member, and at times an administrator, for the last 10 years.

Expertise and Experience

Before coming to UCW he taught history at the University of the Fraser Valley for 10 years and at Simon Fraser University for four. He has also taught ethics at a number of other institutions.

With many years of senior management experience, Dr. Hiebert has enjoyed the challenge of working in a focused business environment. He counts as one of his achievements the development of the Tier-structured graduate and undergraduate programs at UCW, programs he considers among the most sophisticated in North America.

Dr. Hiebert continues to serve on community boards and to act as a consultant regarding human resources issues. Currently he is expanding his HR skills through the development of a counselling certification and practice.
