Dr. Betty Bozoma Blay Ackah earned her PhD degree in communication from Simon Fraser University’s School of Communication.
Expertise and Experience
Dr. Ackah has diverse and multifaceted teaching, research and professional experience gained in Ghana, the United States, Ecuador and Canada. She has taught multi-level courses in Communication Studies and her research expertise spans areas such as misinformation, diversity narratives on social media, and the role of information communication technologies in social change. Dr. Ackah has also take on several professional roles, including the Publicist and Communications Coordinator for the Maternal Health Channel, where she oversaw the project’s media activations and social media accounts.
