
Dr. Amit Kohli
Biography
Dr. Amit Kohli is an Associate Professor at University Canada West. He completed post-doctoral research at the University of Arizona, USA, and served as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Calgary, Canada. He holds a PhD along with two master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Administrative Sciences. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and an ASCM Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
Dr. Kohli brings more than 20 years of combined academic and industry experience in digital transformation, supply chain systems and technology-enabled business innovation. He has successfully completed consultancy projects for organizations in the areas of digital transformation, supply chain optimization, AI adoption and technology implementation.
In recognition of his contributions to teaching and research, he has received the Best Teacher Award and the Young Scientist Award.
He has authored approximately 50 research papers published in internationally recognized journals by leading publishers, including Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Inderscience, Emerald and Wiley. His research has been presented at numerous international conferences in the UK, Italy, Hungary, the USA, Japan and Canada.
Dr. Kohli is the author of two books, holds two design patents and one granted utility patent, with two additional utility patents under review. He actively serves as a reviewer for several leading international journals and publishers. His research interests include digital transformation, artificial intelligence, blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), healthcare, agri-food systems and data-driven supply chains.
Expertise and Experience
He has 18 years of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate classes.
He has participated in various international conferences held in countries such as the UK and Italy. Dr. Kohli is a publisher of two books and has three patents: two design and one utility patent. In his spare time, he enjoys playing badminton and traveling with his family.
Publications and Scholarly Activities
Dr. Kohli’s research interests include the interpretation of data through the statistical technique: correlation, regression, and multivariant analysis. Dr. Kohli has published around 50 research papers. His papers are published in various Global journals such as Taylor & Francis, Springer, and Inderscience.
He was awarded the Best teacher award and Young scientist award.
