Donna Chowdhury

Biography:

Donna Chowdhury has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wales (UK).

She is currently a Sessional Faculty member at University Canada West teaching Talent Management.

Donna enjoys putting together amazing lessons for the students and connects with them through a dynamic teaching style, forging a lifelong partnership in learning. She views the role of a faculty at UCW as a catalyst for women's advancement in leadership and an inspiring example for other women.

Expertise and Experience

Donna is an accomplished educator and received the esteemed title of Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, as recognized by the UK Professional Standards Framework.

She advocates the impact of equity, diversity, and inclusion on building effective teams and maintains momentum within the academic environment as well. Besides her classroom duties of delivering lectures and evaluating assessments, Donna worked with the director of different programs for developing courses, formulated lesson plans, and oversaw numerous capstone and business consulting projects.

Her core expertise are Leadership and Talent Management, Operations and Supply Chain, Project Management, Research Methodology and Business Statistics.

Through her interdisciplinary education and experiences, Donna gets to practice in a number of areas through an integrated approach to analysis and problem-solving. She looks forward to making valuable contributions to UCW’s academic and research community, to support business development through education and bedrock initiatives like community engagement, collaboration, open dialogue, sustainable procurement and continuous improvement.
