The ICEF North America Workshop in Vancouver was a great success for its platinum sponsor University Canada West (UCW).

The conference was held only a few blocks away from the UCW campus in downtown Vancouver, BC.

“UCW proudly sponsored ICEF Vancouver,” said Jefferson Lee, UCW’s Director of Student Recruitment and Regional Development. “We know this a great platform to interact with hundreds of recruitment agents from all over the world.”

The workshop included 887 attendees, as well as 8,307 pre-scheduled business appointments. The UCW team met with dozens of agents from across the world.

UCW also sponsored a well-attended seminar by prominent Vancouver-based Canadian Immigration Lawyer, Will Tao, with Larlee Rosenberg, Barristers & Solicitors. He spoke about the challenges facing international students hoping to study in Canada.

Seminars were held on the first day of the conference, followed by two days of business meetings, and school tours on the fourth day. A number of agents visited the UCW campus to tour the facilities.

“Since international agents are the ones connecting with students abroad, we know it was that crucial agents remembered us as a quality institution that is committed to the educational and professional development of our students,” Lee added.
