Biography:

Tu Dao has a Master of Business Administration degree and holds certifications as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified General Accountant (CGA).

Tu is currently a Sessional Faculty member at University Canada West teaching Accounting for Managers and imparting comprehensive knowledge and expertise to students with an engaging teaching style that equips them to navigate the complexities of the accounting field.

Tu is an accomplished accounting professional. With a remarkable 13-year career in the manufacturing industry, he has consistently exhibited exceptional financial management skills, driving organizational growth.

As a senior accounting manager, Tu's adept leadership and mentoring abilities have cultivated a culture of success within teams. Passionate about coaching and teaching, he prioritizes creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment that fosters cultural awareness and critical thinking skills, ensuring every student's opportunity to thrive.

Outside his professional pursuits, Tu finds intellectual stimulation in chess. As the founder and president of the Richmond Chess Club, a not-for-profit organization, he actively contributes to the community by organizing no-cost chess events, promoting strategic thinking and problem-solving.

Through his multifaceted endeavors, Tu aims to make significant contributions to academia and the local community.
