Justin Molander
Biography:
Justin Molander has an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant.
He is currently a Sessional Faculty member at University Canada West teaching courses in accounting and finance.
Expertise and Experience
Justin is an Indigenous Canadian from the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation. His more than 20 years of experience spans from financial analysis and market research to financing high growth, capital intensive companies in a broad range of industries.
He is the founder and Managing Director of Trading Post Investments Ltd. where he has assembled major financing packages and oversaw the execution of these deals over the past 10 years. He has held profile positions in the mining industry analyzing business risk, demand, supply, pricing and M&A activity.
Justin also worked closely with the BC Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources and he provided political and policy advice to Members of the Legislative Assembly. Justin harnesses his rich experience in due diligence and research to ensure that clients are correctly positioned to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
In addition to his work at UCW, Justin is currently teaching courses at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Langara College and Douglas College.

Justin is active with AFOA BC, CPA Canada and CPA Western School of Business with the following initiatives:
- AFOA BC and Langara College: delivery of accounting courses and financial literacy to indigenous people and communities
- CPA Canada: Financial Literacy Volunteer
- CPA Western School of Business: development of indigenous business cases in an accounting context. As well as a PEP session leader and facilitator.
