
Jim Randall
Biography:
Jim Randall has an MBA from Queen’s University and a BSc from the University of Manitoba.
Expertise and Experience
Jim Randall is a successful business leader whose interests now include contributing to the success of others by helping them engage those they serve and those that contribute to the success of their enterprise.
His extensive experience includes roles as Vice President Marketing, Vice President Operations and Vice President Customer Services for a major Canadian utility company, where he was on the on the management team that put together the largest privatization of a utility in the North American energy industry at that time. Upon the successful completion of the privatization, he became responsible for leading the organization through change in preparation for a new competitive environment.
While a professor in the undergraduate and MBA programs in leadership and marketing at the University of Phoenix and Meritus University he enhanced his understanding of the skills and processes that creative leaders use to create successful enterprise.
He joined University Canada West in 2010 as a member of the Program Advisory Committee and started teaching in April 2011. He also teaches in the undergraduate program at Yorkville University and the graduate program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
His current focus is helping creative leaders build successful community enterprises by finding innovative ways to engage employees, donors, customers and the community.
