
Dr. Sina Mahabadi
Biography:
Dr. Sina Mahabadi has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, a master’s in Higher Education, an MSc in Medical Physics and a BSc in Bioengineering.
Expertise and Experience
Dr. Mahabadi started teaching when he was only 16 years old as a teacher’s assistant. Since then, he hasn’t given up his passion in teaching. He has taught various subjects including electronics, advanced mathematics, dynamics, nutrition, physiology, biochemistry and programming at five universities and six colleges. So far, he has taught more than 15,000 hours across four different continents.
In parallel with teaching, he has been involved in more than 15 academic research projects over five different departments including mechanical, civil, biomedical engineering, bioscience, mathematics, higher education and management.
Dr. Mahabadi is a BC certified teacher, medical physicist, IEEE associate member and AACR member.
Publications and Scholarly Activity
Most of Dr. Mahabadi’s published papers are aimed at improving and optimizing the effect of specific drug treatments on certain types of cancer cells, known as “stratified-medicine”.
