
Dr. Salvador Trevino
Biography:
Dr. Salvador Trevino holds a PhD in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of Memphis (2003). He earned his MBA in 1990 from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Tecnologico de Monterrey in 1984.
Dr. Trevino is a full-time faculty member at UCW teaching marketing management, business environment, organizational behavior, digital marketing strategy, and human interfaces.
Expertise and Experience
Born in the Northern City of Monterrey, in Mexico, he was an adjunct professor, academic administrator and entrepreneurship mentor at Tecnologico de Monterrey´s (ITESM) EGADE Business School.
Dr. Trevino has lectured in several Latin-American countries, France, the USA and Canada. A College of Business and also an EGADE Business School professor at Monterrey Tech, he currently lectures Marketing and Business Strategy courses at the Master of Marketing program and also at the Global MBA, an Online MBA program offered by Monterrey Tech´s Virtual University.
He was previously a visiting professor at Royal Roads University from August 2010 to July 2012, where he taught Marketing, Strategy and Entrepreneurship. There he actively participated in curriculum design activities and produced two academic publications.
Upon his return to Mexico, Dr. Trevino was appointed National Director for Alumni Relations a position that he combines with his teaching and entrepreneurship activities.
