Biography:

Dr. Nam Le has a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Walden University (USA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Vancouver Island University, a Master of Science in International Business (MScIB) from the University of Hertfordshire (UK), and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Simon Fraser University. He also holds many professional certificates in Information Technology.

Dr. Le is currently an Assistant Professor at University Canada West teaching various courses such as Business Fundamentals, International Business, Business Environment, Marketing, E-commerce and Business Quantitative.

Expertise and Experience

Dr. Le’s teaching philosophy is to put students at the centre of the learning process. His courses are designed based on the student’s prior knowledge and experience. Moreover, he applies various delivery methods to enhance the quality of education, such as flipped-classroom, activity-based and project-based learning. He believes that students should not only learn academic theories but should also be able to apply those theories and concepts to solve real-world problems.

Besides teaching, Dr. Le is an experienced curriculum designer, entrepreneur, financial controller, project manager and technology consultant.

Dr. Le’s research interest includes globalization, emerging economies, global migration, internationalization of SMEs, and doing business with East Asia.
