Dr. Julia Bondar holds a PhD in Business Economics, a Master’s in Strategic Management, a University Instructor Diploma and has been a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis.

She currently teaches Strategic Management at UCW.

Dr. Bondar combines university teaching with business practice to highlight relevant aspects of strategic management. She also inspires the application of strategic thinking and planning in both professional and personal spheres.

Expertise and Experience

Dr. Bonar has more than 15 years of professional experience in academia and consulting. At the Far Eastern Federal University, she held the role of Associate Professor and taught numerous business-related courses, including Strategic Management, Business Strategy Analysis, Strategy Formulation and Implementation and Investment Management to graduate and undergraduate students.

Dr. Bonar is a consulting company co-founder and was involved in the business strategy analysis for numerous other companies. For the past five years, she has been an Analyst in Vancouver’s clean tech industry and is currently a Sessional Faculty member at University Canada West.

Publications and Scholarly Activity

Dr. Bondar’s research interests include business strategy analysis, strategy formulation and evaluation of its effectiveness. Throughout her teaching career, she has published over 25 scientific papers and textbooks on Strategic Management and Investment Management for students. She has also served as a scientific advisor for final papers and as a supervisor of master’s theses for university students.
