
Dr. Giuseppe Pezzulli
Bepi Pezzulli is an Associate Professor of leadership for advanced project management and STEM professionals, negotiations, and change management in the Leadership and People Management Department of UCW’s MBA program.
He holds degrees from University of Rome, LUISS (Master of Laws with a concentration in Economics), New York University (Master of Laws) and Columbia University (Juris Doctor), where he was appointed a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
He qualified as an Attorney at Law in New York (1999-2019), an Avvocato in Italy (2002-2014) and a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales (2014-2025).
Professor Pezzulli operates at the nexus of finance, technology and public policy, shaping strategic outcomes in complex regulatory environments. His expertise spans capital markets, digital innovation and geopolitical risk. With a background in law, finance and corporate leadership, he bridges private sector dynamism and government policy. His work informs both corporate strategy and institutional reform.
Expertise and Experience
Professor Pezzulli is a recognized authority in strategic advisory at the intersection of finance, technology and public policy. His professional career spans investment management, corporate finance, cross-border M&A and global risk, with senior roles in both multilateral financial institutions and multinational corporations.
He practiced corporate law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP (now A&O Shearman) in New York, before moving into managerial positions at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and BlackRock in London. He has also served on several corporate boards and advisory councils.
Professor Pezzulli has advised governments on regulatory reform, digital sovereignty and the modernization of capital markets. His academic work focuses on the institutional, legal, economic and technical infrastructures that support financial innovation and economic security.
In recent years, he has emerged as a leading expert in crypto finance, advising public and private institutions on digital asset regulation, asset tokenization and blockchain infrastructure.
