Dr. Gifty Parker is a renowned human resources expert and educator with an impressive blend of academic and industry experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Languages, Cultures and Literacies from Simon Fraser University, an M.Ed. in Adult Learning and Education from the University of British Columbia, and an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Leicester, UK. Demonstrating her commitment to advancing knowledge, Dr. Parker is currently pursuing a second Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources (OBHR), further solidifying her expertise as a leader in the field. At UCW, Dr. Gifty Parker teaches a range of HR courses across multiple terms, including HRMT 622 Talent Management, HRMT 624 Recruiting & Retaining Talent, HRMT 625 Management & Employee Relations, and HRMT 623 HR Strategy.
