Dr. Farnoosh Bagheri
Biography:
Dr. Farnoosh Bagheri holds a PhD in System Management and Productivity (Industrial Engineering) from the Iranian University of Science and Technology (2016), an MA in System Optimization (Industrial Engineering) from Isfahan University of Technology (1997) and a BA in System Analysis (Industrial Engineering) from Iranian University of Science and Technology in Tehran (1993).
As a faculty member, he has taught courses on business statistics, operations management, quantitative method for business, and quality management system in MBA, and applied multivariate technique, design of experiment and statistical quality control in the master of industrial engineering.
He teaches operations management at UCW.
Expertise and Experience
Dr. Bagheri has worked in a variety of educational systems such as universities and scientific research centers for more than 22 years as a researcher, instructor and consultant.
He also has on-the-job practical experience in various companies, such as having active collaboration with many industries and providing consulting services by organizing 220 different workshops on Quality Management Systems, Business Excellence Models. He was the strategic planning manager of the Academic Centre for Education, Culture, and Research (ACECR) for more than six years, establishing many operational systems and improvement projects to consummate the respective organizational goals.
Publications and Scholarly Activities
As a researcher, Dr. Bagheri has published several papers in distinguished journals. His research interests include quality management systems, key performance indicators, operations management, performance measurement system and business strategy planning and implementation by using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. He is also interested in Project Management Excellence Model based on IPMA and Precision Measurement and Quality Control Equipment.
