Biography

Dr. Angel Valerio, PhD, MSc is an accomplished Operations Executive with over a decade of experience spanning Mexico and Canada’s manufacturing, engineering and high-tech agri-food and energy industries. Dr. Valerio holds a Doctorate in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia and a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Expertise and Experience

Dr. Valerio is an Operations Executive with over 15 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering and SaaS. He has scaled programs, high-tech manufacturing operations and SaaS enterprise products from concept to commercial adoption.

Throughout his career, he has built and led high-performing teams of Engineers, Operations Managers, Project Managers and Scientists, achieving annual retention, productivity and growth targets. His experience also includes securing financing and grants.

Dr. Valerio has worked across organizations of all sizes, from startups to publicly traded corporations driving geographic and industry expansion.

Currently, as Chief Operating Officer at Clir Renewables, he leads Operations and Customer Delivery with full P&L responsibility, accelerating growth and ensuring scalable, high-impact outcomes for his clients and shareholders.
