Amirali Nourbakhsh
Biography:
Amirali Nourbakhsh holds a masters degree in International Relations, Economics and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental & African Studies (University of London). He also has a master’s degree in Foreign Languages, Political Geography and Adult Education from the Justus Liebig Universitaet in Giessen, Germany.
Expertise and Experience
Amirali has worked as a management consultant and leadership coach for more than 20 years. He has worked with clients such as Unilever, Siemens, Shell, Samsung, Danone and Henkel as well as many local companies ranging from the automotive industry to post-production in cinematography.
Amirali also has extensive experience advising companies on industry regulations management, stakeholder classification and management, and reputation management for tobacco and pharmaceutical companies.
His consulting career has ranged from identifying internal and external threats to business for foreign direct investors and restructuring organizations to leadership development training and corporate culture projects.
Publications
Between 2001 and 2005, Amirali was editor of a political-economic monthly, Iran Focus, published by the UK-based Means Associates. The monthly served foreign investors helping them better understand Iran’s ever-changing political and economic landscape. It covers threats and opportunities foreign companies face when investing in Iran, such as those impacting legislation, regulations, political infighting, black market, and money laundering, etc.
