The University Canada West Library is excited to announce the launch of a new workshop focused on APA style.

APA: Beyond the Basics is a highly interactive workshop designed to help students further their understanding of APA citations. Students will learn how to decipher complicated APA rules and apply them to unique information sources.

“This hands-on workshop is ideal for students who are looking to improve their grades through proper implementation of APA’s rules,” said Jennifer Pride, Undergraduate Liaison Librarian.

APA: Beyond the Basics allows students to practice building in-text and reference list citation, using UCW Library’s resources to advance their skills.

The Library will offer this workshop during weeks 7, 8 and 9 of the term during a range of times.

Registration is required as space is limited to maximize student engagement. Students are encouraged to sign up early to secure a spot.

Students should have completed the APA: The Basics workshop before attending APA: Beyond the Basics.

The first APA: Beyond the Basics workshop is set for Tuesday, June 1, from 7 – 8:30 pm PDT.
