Vancouver, BC – To celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary, University Canada West has announced a reduction in domestic MBA tuition fees for 2017. This will benefit Canadians and permanent residents enrolling in the MBA Foundation Program and the MBA Program, with additional discounts available to Canadian Armed Forces members. The lower fees will apply from the winter term, starting with the January 2017 intake. This gives students the opportunity to access UCW’s graduate program and save more than 25% on the total cost.

Domestic students will pay $5,100 for the MBA Foundation instead of $6,900, while the MBA Program will be reduced to $24,960 from the previous $34,560. Fees for individual courses will be discounted to align with the new pricing. Costs for international students remain unchanged, but members and veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces will benefit from an additional 10% discount on any program (including online courses) to reach out to those serving the country.

“2017 marks a true milestone in the history of Canada. We’re looking forward to making our own contribution to this anniversary by making graduate education more affordable. We’ve been offering quality business education since 2004, and we want to open the doors of our MBA courses to even more Canadian students. At a time when most other institutions are contemplating tuition increases, we’re trying to make education more affordable,” said Dr Arthur Coren, President and Vice Chancellor of University Canada West.

The reduced tuition fees will apply for all intakes in 2017. Dr Coren added: “Access to higher education and qualifications is a key element in the social and economic development of every country. We want to ensure even more Canadians have that opportunity.”
