Dr. Meera Dhebar has a PhD in Social Health Sciences and a Graduate and Undergraduate degree in Social Work. She is also a registered Social Worker (RSW).

Dr.Dhebar teaches Social Justice courses at UCW.

Expertise and Experience

Dr. Dhebar boasts extensive experience as a seasoned social worker with a professional background encompassing Toronto and Vancouver. Her dedicated service spans over a decade, during which she has played a pivotal role as a therapist and clinical director. Dr. Dhebar’s passion for the field extends to her roles as an educator, where she has imparted her knowledge through teaching social work courses at both the University of British Columbia and Toronto Metropolitan University. Most recently, she has taken on the role of an educator within the Master of Counselling program at the City University of Seattle, Vancouver Island Campus.
